Kisan Vikas Patra Interest Rate 2022 – KVP or Kisan Vikas Patra is a government backed scheme which gives small investors the opportunity to invest their money in a safe and flexible investment scheme which has guaranteed returns after a certain time period.
The current interest rate of Kisan Vikas Patra is 6.9% which can change be changed by the Finance Ministry in any quarter and new rate of interest is applied to all investors.
This scheme gives the account holder an interest rate anywhere between 6.5% to 8% which can double the investment of the card holder in nearly about 110 to 130 months. This Kisan Vikas Patra Interest Rate is revised after every quarter and is announced by the Finance Ministry. However, it is not necessary that KVP Interest would change each time.

The current KVP interest rate is 6.9% for all Patras which is one of the major benefits of Kisan Vikas Patra. The Interest rate is not fixed and it can change periodically as and when the government makes the announcement for it.
The Kisan Vikas Patra Interest Rate is revised after every quarter of each financial year and it is announced by the Finance Ministry of India.

Working of Kisan Vikas Patra Interest Rate
Kisan Vikas Patra Interest rate is compounded annually on the invested amount. Compound Interest means that the KVP holder will be getting the KVP Interest rate on the previous year returns as well along with the principal amount invested. Thus, compound interest multiplies the investment quicker than simple interest.
